"Halloween" The Movie (remake)

You all know me, the "Halloween" movies are my all time fav. horror movies!! Well when I seen the trailers for the new remake I just HAD to see it! (I guess it is a remake, being titled "Halloween" and not Halloween 9 or 10 or whatever they're upto now, but the 'original' was just "Halloween" though theres nothing like an original, but being the "original" is about 30 years old, I guess it was due time to "remake" it.) So anyways me and Candy went last weekend to see it... and here's my review.

...Without giving anything away, for anybody who wants to see it...

It starts out telling the story of Michael Myers, as a child, which I thought was a good touch, being that you never really got to know his childhood in the series. (Very foul language alert though... not for young ears.) Then it progresses into present day, and what I liked, is as it fast forwards to 15 years later, it starts out like a whole new, like the original movie, with the opening sequence and the "Sandman" Song. For a fan of the series like me, I could pick out right away, the original opening. But it follows the same story line like the original 1978 Halloween movie did, but with a little more detail, than say "Halloween 2" did... you'll see what I mean. The only thing in this movie is, it's more "blood guts and gore" than the original. That's what made the org. move good, it was all physcological (sp?) All in all, it was pretty good. Nothing like the original.

I'd give it just one thumbs up though... not two.
