Re: Maple Town?
No I've never played it, but I did grow up watching Nature and other animal programs *lol* And NIMH, Watership Down, Once upon A Forest...
My idea is the lower class animals children came up with the idea of dressing up on Halloween to hide from hunters, while the higher classes children are allowed to actually go wthout clothing for one night (it is more of a custom than a socal need like humans and clothing).
I guess I just have this need to see animals as animals, even talking ones *lol*

Re: Maple Town?
Never heard of it, but when you mentioned Canada...anybody here remember "The Raccoons"? Loved that show when it aired on the Disney Channel in the U.S....wish they'd release it on DVD on this side of the border.
Oh, and I'm such an idiot: it would make sense if Patty had the protagonist's Personas. I mean, she's the newcomer riding into town on a train, so it works. (She doesn't have an MP3 player and neat headphones, though. XD) Though that doesn't answer who should have Yukari's Personas...maybe her older sister Ann?

I thin I may have heard of it, but then I might be mixing it up with a verison of 'Wind In The Willows' I saw one. I grew up watching almost all PBS shows

I remember The Raccoons.. I think I had a crush on ether the main hero or the villains son *lol*
I also watched 'The Bluffers' which was on a video my daddy made for me...it was a very, um, groovy series about saving forest life *lol*
Any your right that does make sense ! I would play that game only I get scared pretty easily..
It's funny when I use my own imagination about things blood and killing don't frighten me.. but if I have to watch something some else has made *shudders*.
Still I don't want anyone to misunderstand, my Sylvania is not more relistic becuase I enjoy twisting sweet characters and giving little fans nightmares or something .
I just hate writing about animals as if they were just humans wearing fur coats you know?
When I was little I think I may have has a few dolls that may or may not have been Sylvanians (more than likely they were knock off of knock offs of Maple Town) and my ma use to get mad at me for undressing them all becuse 'Bears and owls don't wear pants and vests'

Re: Maple Town?
Persona 3 isn't really all that scary, though it can get fairly intense if you stay too long on any given floor of the dungeon. Then the Reaper shows up and hunts you down.
You can actually fight and defeat the Reaper - in fact, you have to in order to complete one of Elizabeth's Requests - but with 4444 HP and max stats across the board, running into him is pretty much instant death at low levels (and he's still a pain at high ones).
BTW, his HP is something of a Japanese pun: in Japanese, "shi" can mean "death", but it can also mean "four".

Re: Maple Town?
Speaking of comics, have you ever read Osamu Tezuka's Phoenix? Masterpiece, that. I strongly recommend volume 4, "Karma".

Re: Maple Town?
I don't know. I haven't actually been collecting the toys, just the anime. >_>
And you should read Phoenix: Karma, as soon as you can. Trust me, it's awesome. ^_^
