 Hello from Ireland!
Hi, my name is Cheryl and I recently started collecting Sylvanian Families. I wanted them as a child but they were very expensive, beyond the range of my pocket money. But now I'm an adult (well in body at least) I've indulged myself!
I'm going to post pictures of my first house if you'd like to see it, I welcome any views, comments or advice.

It is great to have you here with us. I am another adult collector who could not afford to buy all the Sylvanians I wanted when I was younger so I am certainly making up for it now. By the way I had a look at your photos in the gallery and they are great. Please keep posting them as you take them

Thanks Cathy, I have to say that I'm fairly new to all this, but everyone I've spoken to is really nice and you've all made me feel very welcome. It's nice to find a small group that know each other well and still be made to feel welcome to post messages and put pictures up. Thanks again!
p.s. I promise to update my thread when I've got the kitchen done!

I sometimes wish I was a little girl again and had Sylavnian Families, I know they would have been my favorite toy. (also because my hands would have been smaller and I wouldn't keep knocking things over!)
