Well , Saudi Arabia is building wahabi mosques even in China , and Iran is doing the biggest buildup in assymetric warfare the world has ever seen ranging from Lebanon to Central Asia .

I'm not worried about Russia , they are taking steps to ban contraception even now , and that coupled with incentives has boosted the birthrate . The people there is used to do what the government says , or else . Add to that their different military doctrine , where kids and women are seen as legitimate targets , and you have a whole different picture .

When you mentioned that Wahabists are building mosques in China I immediately wondered what role the U.S. government has in that considering the geopolitical games it is playing with China now.

And as for Iran and assymetical warfare, it is a sign of weakness, not strength to pursue a 4GW strategy. Iran is pursuing its goals of becoming a regional hegemon through indirect confrontation because it cannot fight a conventional war with a major power.

I do hope the Russian people turn their birth-rate situation around. Policy under the communists encouraged abortion and birth control and now they are trying to change a mindset. It takes religion to believe that life and children are worth it.

If they are sane , they will remember how their former jihadist allies behaved 20 years later .

It is a sign of wisdom - low cost and maximum efficiency because of a flawed US military doctrine - the barbarians vs Rome . And that's without their future WMDs .
