Brave new world

How long until the whole western world turns into something like that ? Do you have similar problems where you live ? - I must confess that the crime is almost non-existant where I live

Am I too non-PC for this board or does the future makes you uncomfortable ?

I thought I had answered this earlier but perhaps I started to and did not finish. I have not had any experiences like those described in the article and certainly violent crime is not a major concern right now.

If you don't count abortion or the violence committed in the name of government. I don't imagine it will remain that way for ever.

Considering that we are on the brink of a world war ( just see the nuclear proliferation in the ME ) , I'm wondering why Vatican is not preparing the believers for dire times - like preparing the Opus Dei to go underground for example .
