Re: Devotion to the Sacred Heart Of Jesus Tony - I like haunted house movies and I do believe that ghosts exist. There was a TV movie made a few years ago that was supposedly a true story. The movie was about a Catholic family in PA who lived in a haunted house and this was a violent hainting. The Church refused to approve the rite of exorcism. The family tried many ways to get relief and nothing helped very much. Finally, the Sacred Heart league came over to the house one night and all lite candles and they prayed the rosary. This brought relief for quite a while. Finally, when the haunting returned and eventually the Church approved the rite of exorcism. Have you seen the film? - Nord
Re: Devotion to the Sacred Heart Of Jesus Nord, demons exist weather we want to believe in them or not. That much I can say with authority. I believe the film you refer to is called a haunting in PA? I did see this particular film. I have a hard time watching films such as this. I do try to avoid them. Which is why I have not seen the excorsism of emily rose yet.

Re: Devotion to the Sacred Heart Of Jesus Tony - You were correct in stating that the haunting in this movie was apparently done by a demon and not an actual ghost. Some of these movies I like and some I do not. I do not like them if they get bloody.

In general, hauntings are demonic in character and not human spirits. People who delve into spiritism do not know what they are dealing with. Tony is right to avoid these things.

Anyway, the very devout Catholic psychic investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren, were supposedly involved in this PA case. I actually heard them give a speech 30 years ago. - Nord
