We've learned Mel Gibson's wife Robyn has just filed legal papers to divorce Mel Gibson, her husband of 28 years, citing "irreconcilable differences." Pretty ironic -- Robyn signed the papers the day before Good Friday.

Re: Mel Gibson divorces Reportedly she told him that if he embarrassed her one more time publicly that it would be over. There were pictures of him on the beach in Costa Rica with a bikini clad starlet. He claims the circumstances were innocent. It may be that she is really a barracuda. Still, he should have known to be prudent even just in appearances.

Re: Mel Gibson divorces I am not convinced of Gibson's faith.
I rallied around TPOTC film and marveled at the courage it took to create such a realistic portrayal of Christ's Passion.
However, I slowly began to think that Gibson's real purpose was to show a bloody film. And that's all.
While watching the film one day, I realized that for a man(Gibson) who claimed Scripture (and the Dolores Passion) as inspiration, he sure did leave out many aspects of events.
I was left wondering why all of Jesus' words on the cross were not filmed. Why many of the crowds taunts were not filmed. Why the centurion's conversion at the cross was not filmed. The list goes on.
