"There are not over a hundred people in the United States who hate the Catholic Church. There are millions, however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church, which is, of course, quite a different thing." -Bishop Fulton J. Sheen
Placating terrorists, meeting with dictators, compassion for murderers... but no humanity for the unborn... incredible.

Re: Mel Gibson divorces Tony,
I was saddened that the Centurion's conversion was not filmed. I need to review the seven last words again. Which were not included?
The single part of the movie which seemed most sadistic was the crow pecking out the thief's eyes. That was truly disturbing and revolting. And I have to say that his following this movie up with Apocalypto raised troubling questions in my mind about the state of his soul.
Re: Mel Gibson divorces Come on Michael - there are too many cafeteria catholics anyway .
"For the first time in 300 years, the cathedral in Mexico City's main plaza has pulled an icon of the Lord of Health from storage, and worshippers placed it on the principal altar."
Re: Mel Gibson divorces I am confident that God is fully aware of how many cafeteria Catholics there are. I would not have expected Gibson to be one of them but even he is probably thinking that the marriage laws are too strict.
Re: Mel Gibson divorces There's no fool like an old fool. I read somewhere else that none of his children will have anything to do with him. He has lost it all.
Re: Mel Gibson divorces People are fallen Michael. Now I understand it better
Genesis 18:32 And he said, Oh let not the LORD be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.
Re: Mel Gibson divorces "Mel Gibson's girlfriend accused of being 'opportunist' "
"The American businessman lived with the 39-year-old Russian singer for two years in a flat off Sloane Square, but says she abandoned him for Timothy Dalton, the actor who played James Bond.
"We were practically married," he tells Mandrake. "I brought her parents over and her sister from Russia a few times. She was an exceptionally beautiful young woman who was very talented and I was very much in love, but she got a better offer from Timothy Dalton."
""She married this guy and they were living in a council house. She then met me and I was far better off and had more money and had a better life. She left him and she moved in with me. I didn't ask her to. At some point she divorced him and I signed some papers.
"She then met Timothy Dalton at a party we went to. I was working for Pathé at the time. Within a week, she had moved in with him and I never saw her again. She was a very lovely girl, but a bit of an opportunist. Many Russian young women are. She came from a tiny town. If she's happy, then good for her."
Bergman, who declines to disclose his age, adds of Miss Grigorieva: "If she is with Mel, he is more famous than Timothy Dalton and who knows what that will mean. Maybe she will get in to a film and that will thrill her.""
