WinWar 2 Not Working on Vista - Please help!
Ive been playing Winwar on my XP machine for years! I love it, had tons of scenarios, maps, etc.
When I went to install it, the install worked but when I start the program, I get numerous errors and cannot play.
Is this something thats usual for all Vista comps? Or is there a problem with where Im downloading from?
Thanks for the help! Im freaking without my Winwar!! Nothing to do at work

It seems to be a bug with the installer. All the files that have long names are being renamed to SOMETHING~1.SOMETHING.

When you installed, did you right-click the installer and choose "Run as administrator?" If not, uninstall and reinstall doing that.
Also, if that still doesn't work, make sure you right-click the WinWar executable and choose "Run as administrator" again.
Still doesn't work? Try running the installer and executable in compatibility mode.

I have a better solution: DON'T USE VISTA! XD
It's the most criticized OS ever. XP is better.
