Information on Prolif 2?

My favorite game out of all the Silicon Commander games is Proliferation. But it seems like no work is being done towards Proliferation 2. The page said that work would begin once Winwar 4.0 and Solar Vengence 4.1 were completed. We are now on Winwar 4.1 and working on Solar Vengence 5.

Details please?

Looks like the boys liked Solar Vengeance and Win War more than Proliferation...

Well! It's all I can say about! (May be SV and WW can be played online, and prolif not, I think...)

Re: Information on Prolif 2?

Proliferation was the best.

I liked Solar Vengeance, but it had stiff competition from such as Master of Orion and the Space Empires series. SV was fun, but not specatcular.

WinWar II - how many WWII games have there been? Can't beat Gary Grigsby's A World At War.

But Proliferation was unique. There never has been anything quite like it. Now the Cold War is over, and a lot of kids today don't even remember it, but the same could be said of WWII or the Golden Age of sci-fi. And they don't have global thermonuclear annihilation. That was (and remains) one fun game.

Bring back Proliferation, please, and keep making it better!
