 Help with Prismserver Runtime
I've been playing with beat2k the past few days, and have been having trouble hosting games on my system. I only have a 56k connection for the moment, and networked games run rather sluggish when I host.
Anyway, I was talking with beat, and he was willing to open a server off his DSL connection...but we can't get Solar Vengeance to communicate through his Router. We spent about 2 hours last night trying various things, but we just can't seem to get everything working correct.
Does anyone know what ports need to be forwarded to use for Solar Vengeance? We tried the default port 4000, but that didn't work. Also tried forwarding ports for PrismServer, that didn't make a difference either. His router IP address pings ok, we just can't seem to get the information forwarded to the correct computer on his network (two set-up).
Any help would be appreciated, thanks...

I play a online game that uses port 2002, you should try this... BTW it's all I can help. Try desativating firewalls temporaly too, just as test. Some online games has problems when firewalls are activated.

Hi, did you ever solve the problem of Prism server crashing? We have prism server running here and it crashes 4-6 times a day as users log out/disconnect.

I'm not having problems with the Server crashing, just can't get it to work on a DSL line.
Looks as if the SC-branded software is becoming Abandon-Ware.
