I was chatting to a chap from West area today, and he is pretty familiar with the Plymouth scene.
He couldn't offer any explanation for the fact that the Plymouth Premier Div was scrapped to allow them to downgrade themselves to Senior Cup from Premier.
It seems they did it by introducing a ground requirement in their rules for Premier Div teams and being downgraded because nobody met it!!
He had to agree that Windmill Hill didn't meet it either, especially today when the showers failed! The council have it in hand for Monday's work.
Fortunately Stavvy, our visitors weren't forced to raise too great a sweat in their victory today. lol
