Newton Abbot Spurs
Following last nights AGM where the turn out was fantastic and 13 new committee members came forward the following volunteers were elected to the comittee and contact can be made through the following :-

Fixture Secretary - Jamie Dyson - 01803212169 / 07815540296
Commercial Manager - Jamie Mills
First team Manager Chris Breslan / Steve Workman
Third Team Manager - Jamie Argyle
Reserve Team Manasger TBA
In addition we had Ben Doyle and his father Jon come forward to run two very important ongoing fundraising operations and although reglegation has faced both teams the future looks very bright
Official notification on its way to SDFL and SWPFL
Please contact Jamie Dyson for friendlies and our floodlights should be up by September 2009.
You may note the " old guard " has returned with plenty of fresh new blood which is very welcome indeed.

I only ask because of the number of games that you have cancelled or not shown up for when you have 3 teams.

There should be enough players if the lads that dont make the first team will play for reserves! 1st team have bout 20 to choose from all good players, so could have three decent sides.
Just a case of bad managment for the two missed games! The reserves are not very organised at the moment.

It is difficult this time of year, what with holidays etc, etc. We (Chagford) have 40+ on the books but had to field two weakend teams of twelve each last weekend ourselves.
How are the lights coming along?

when everyones back from holidays and 1st team decide on there squad the other two manages will know who there guna have available.
hopefully enough for two teams!!
Floodlight work has started and they are hoping they will be up and ready for october!
