as i mentioned earlier in the season watch out for WWB and Bovey. This is and has always ben in my view one of the most difficult leagues to win. always a large amount of talent playing within div 3, proving they are more than intermediate level footballers. Only those that stay focused for the full 90 of every game will be victorious at the end of the season. very close league will be interesting to see how teams progress especially when the new Uni year starts next week. Will teams loose players to this?? Hookhills look strong as do Bovey. Early days can see Teigns improving over the season along with Stavvy. will wait till after x-mas to really get a handle on who will be pushing for the up and those in the battle for staying up. Cheers emoticon

Yea tbh Chris looking at Bovey and Stoke yesterday i think they wouldn't look out of place in div 1, and i would assume the same of the other teams you have mentioned.

The Hookhills Teign game was a very competitive game first 10 mins Teign were really hacking away and it looked like they would be lucky to keep 11 men on the pitch, however Hookhills stuck to playing football and eventually Teign joined in with some good football of there own, in fact they scored two top quality goals, but to be fair hookhills looked like a well balanced team with decent players in all positions and as has already been said the better team on the day won. The number 11 previously mentioned Ross Bradley is one of the lads who will be back at Uni after this weekend but I think you will find this year Hookhills have a bit more strength in depth and the Uni boys will not be so badly missed. Its great that this div has plenty of good teams, when you start a new team and work up from div 7 as was, its a joy to have competitive football to look forward to most weekends. For now the juggernaut continues.

ps. just a warning to all the other teams in the division......there chairman (i believe) who runs the line will flag at any opportunity which the opposition look slightly dangerous.......its expected at this level but was quite shocking to the extent on saturday......not sour grapes but always good to have a level playing field.......on reflection maybe our linesman should nt have been honest.....

you got that wrong about the lino ally 10, first he is not the Chairman and second he is a decent standard referee who is allways honest but sometimes like the rest of us, he gets it wrong.

well then stavvy manager, hookhills were the better team on the day,no excuses, just the better team! they wanted it more than us and they showed that straight from the off with the 2 early goals they scored, a very busy team on and off the ball!!
hookhills are the team to beat this season!

can`t wait to meet you boys this weekend, hookhills have probably done us a favour and given us the kick up the ass we need, instead of the two lucky draws you grabbed from us you`ll have two league losses!
see ya
