Re: favourites to win div 4
Just out of interest, out of the 18 you had out, how many were regular starters in the thirds? thats nearly 2 teams worth of players you had missing to fit into the two team worth of players you already had on saturday?!! :-/
Im sure your side is stronger, couldnt have got promoted with having an average team!!

Just wondering out of interest what nights you train, are players welcome to come along to training? I was the goalkeeper on saturday and may look into training with you some point in the next couple years, love the set up youve got now!

Re: favourites to win div 4
we train on a wed at decoy, but when the eves get darker we train at ashmoor on the all weather, but we only let players train who are signed for us or by invitation of the managers if they want to look at a player, thats purely to keep the numbers sensible.

Re: favourites to win div 4
Buckland 3rd's 4 Teignmouth Res 6
Good game on a good playing surface. Buckland look to be a good team who are well worth last seasons promotion. Teignmouth went into the break leading 4-2 with a 50 yard screamer from Clatworthy, a good dribble and chip from Chapman and a smart finish from Bowen from a very tight angle. Teigns changed formation to their detriment in the second half and conceded 2 goals before reverting to 4-4-2 and adding two goals. Tucker scored from distance with a rasper that the keeper couldn't hold and Proctor beat five men and had his deflected shot leave the opposition keeper stranded.
Buckland were good at getting the balls out to the wings and whipping in crosses that their forwards were very adept at getting on the end of.
A good game played in good spirit, thankyou Buckland for your hospitality and we would like to do this again next year.
Buckland are my favourites for this division.....a good number of hardworking players, age and experience, speed down the wings and forwards who are skillful and good in the air. Above all they know what they are doing as a team and concentrate on their strengths.
