Broadhempston 1-10 Marldon
A very direct style of football proved very fruitful for a young marldon side who tore broadhempston to shreds at the back. Going forward broads were a good outfit and could have been at least level into the break if not ahead but found themselves 5-0 down at half time. Second half was more one sided than the first. marldon going 10-0 up before a late consolation, good finish/shocking keeping gave broads something to take from the game! Would go into more detail but id be here til christmas and to be honest i wasnt paying that much attention to the game... was more interested in winding their striker up.

A game littered with chances for both sides fortunately we managed too take 3 of our chances were corries didnt .All in all very happy today with the result against a workmanlike corries side who will win more games than they lose .Ty and gl for the rest of the season corries but im sure you will do fine

in the process of signing on for 66' mate, not to sure what the standard is yet but i know the manager. Its alot easier for me to get there which is the main thing. how u getting on at marldon??

WBB 3rds 1 Chagford Res 0
Better show from Chagford who were undone by a sweet volley from Si Langford. All through the team the visitors did well but could not undo a miserly(!) defence who gave them next to nothing. When Chagford did get through they seemed to have lost their eye for goal.
Well done Watts and thanks go to Barrie Hodge for arranging the match to be at Abbrook, with facilities!

Corries started the season the same way the pre season friendlies had been going - struggling to hit the net up front and giving away sloppy goals at the back! Saying that I was very impressed with Ipplepen Res. You have got some good players for this level bakerno9 and a great set up out there. If you can put that team out every week you will go very close this season. Best of luck for the rest of the season.
