Pens 4-2 Marldon
Bit of a scrappy affair to be honest with limited football on show - Marldon definately started the stronger and certainly had more desire 1st half and deserved Roachy's opener. Ipplepen got level just before the break thanks to a Bres penalty (which seemed to be a fair decision).
A kick up the backside at half time was what was needed, and Pens came out more up for it 2nd half slowly getting a grip on the game. Si Roberts made it 2-1 before Marldon equalised to make it 2-2 with about 25 remaining.
2 Ipplepen strikes courtesy of Roberts and Jimmy Lunt in 5 minutes effectively put the game to bed as it seemed the young Marldon side's heads dropped.
Good sub made by Marldon toward the end with a young lad full of energy came in the middle (why didn't he start) - It was the last thing I needed and was glad of the final whistle as my ankles were just about to drop off!
