Chag res 4 v 5 Babb Corries res

not much to say about this game really, apart from chags threw this game away themselves. 4-2 up and cruising with 20mins to go then all went to pieces. Reasons have been discussed in house but this is a game we should have won but yet again failed to.Ref did a good job. Babs never gave up but think we gifted them the win.

better pull our fingers out as we're conceding to many goals re-phrase,conceding to many stupid goals and not putting our chances away. we are making chances but shooting practice is required at training me thinks.

Yet again Corries started poorly - took 20 mins to get going and by then were 2-0 down and could have been more. Got a goal back before half time and were happy to go into the break only 1 down. The young quick lad up front that was causing us problems at the back was taken off at half time and the lad on the right wing that was giving me the run around was I think moved somewhere else at half time and I didn't notice him second half. Second half was a much better performance from Corries. Despite going 3-1 and 4-2 down we kept battling, taking control of the game for the last 20 mins and getting the goals our efforts deserved. Lee Langley completed his hat trick with two fine finishes, the winner coming 5 mins from time. Corries have showed great character and team spirit over the last few weeks and I was very happy to leave Chagford with another 3 points.

Thanks for the food after the game. Excellent facilities and playing surface. Best wishes for the rest of the season.
