dunno mate, there was the dependable 5 there that are there every week plus zak who has just had a plaster cast off his leg but said he'll play. i think it was more the stoke boys had a good night and pulled than anything else.

Steve Breed has an unfortunate knack of saying the wrong thing to the newspaper. I chose to avoid speaking to Gordon Hines because I know things can be misconstrued, especially when one's feelings are running high, as mine obviously have in the last few days.
I have assessed the disappointment of players letting me down on Sunday and also taken a look at my own performance.
My initial reaction on Sunday was to quit and I sent out some reactionary messages to those who I thought had let me down most.Some have replied but there are others who have yet to respond.
However, there is probably only one or two of those players who have not let me down before. So ,combined with the list of injuries, suspensions and genuine unavailability, it was an accident waiting to happen.
People like Sam Green, Matt Whitehouse, Joe Clark, Matt Brooke, Phil Lloyd, Antony Shine, and Zach Ward joined the club,not for its success but because it was well run and enjoyable to be part of. These guys have never let me down.
I will not now let these guys down.
We may have to recruit some more reliable, albeit less talented, players to see us through, but we will still strive for success on the field.

By the way I got hammered on Sunday, then Monday my car broke down and today my son told me he's moving away in two weeks . Great week so far
