Re: SDL hall of fame
Graham 'Gee Man' Fisher from Newton 66, Kept the club alive at its worst time, still does nearly everything for the club and now helps run one of the youth sides aswell as play for the senior teams.

Re: SDL hall of fame
Gordon Heathman. A legend at Harbertonford, Totnes and Waldon. No better lover of football and cricket than he.

Re: SDL hall of fame
Waldon have announced tonight the sad news that Gordon Heathman has passed away in Torbay Hospital. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all his mates in South Devon football and cricket circles. R.I.P Gordy.

Re: SDL hall of fame
Horrific news - Gordon was a legend, played alongside him, and under his Management at the 'Fords, and against him on the cricket field.
Top top bloke, with a good word for everyone.
My thoughts are with his family.

Re: SDL hall of fame
Wholey agree, Gord was one of the nicest chaps too know. he was a gentleman and i have never heard anyone ever say anything bad about him. i too remember playing under him at the fords, he was always smiling and making everyone laugh.
when ever he came to watch us, players would always make a special effort to speak to him due to fond memories and the banter.
youll be missed gordon
