As ally stated we played for around 15 mins....malbrough fought hard and could do really well next year with a few older heads in the mix with their promising youngsters!
i agree jeff, next season or two marlborough will be strong, a very young squad, we had a tough game against them at there place earlier in the year, also i think its one of the few grounds in the south devon league which actually has a stand

We actually didnt play that well in this game!!! Especially in the first 15 mins when we went a goal behind. It would have ended up about 15 if we easnt playing against a cheating linesman as well!! Looking forward to the run up now, Broads on wednesday, then 3 of the big four (stavy, fleming and teigns) last game of the season at pens!! Without a few of our players now because of cricket.

Railwayman....when do you play Teignmouth?
Looks like you have hit a rich vein of form although your drop of form in the middle of the season will cost you promotion.
Loddiswell have taken a few tonkings this season but to score 10 against them sounds like your finishing and creation of chances was very impressive!
Linesman can be known to cheat throughout the SDFL and it is so frustrating when their flag goes up after every attack is made. Too many times this season an oppositions linesman flag has gone up on the players request and the linesman is to far back to make his own mind up!
However no-one gets everything right and sometimes an honest linesman can get it wrong just cos he is having a mare.
Luckily on Saturday we had an absolutely fair and decent linesman who was honest as the day was long!

Another 2 Shocking Defensive mistakes again cost us geoff. Thats about the be all and end all of the game.We went 1-0 up and had control but then A silly challenge in the box when the forward was going away from goal resulting in a penalty and then 5 minutes later a scuffed clearence spooned into the path of their forward to finish easily. We responded really well in the second half , got the equalizer and then had a goal ruled out a minute from time after a very dubious offside.
But it in all honesty - story of our season really , Not good enough , inconsistant and off the pace. Our team spirit is never in question its always 110 % but its just been one of those seasons. Time too re-group , knuckle down and see what we can do from now till the End.

I would of thought you would of created enough to cancel out two mistakes though ziggy.
It's not over yet m8....still a good few games left and us, Stavvy and Hookhils are sure to drop points in ours.
