AT least you know when you start. I am still waiting to find out from our club.
How can it be that in idv 1 there are only 3 fixtures on the opening day among 14 teams.
Surely there cannot be that many clashes???
It does take the edge off of the opening day.
Ho hum, maybe another season of uncertainty from the league beckons.

Perhaps some teams asked for a blank Sat as the cricket season still effects some teams.

Cooney is correct, If teams request free dates & also some pitches are not available how can I magic games??
I guess I cannot please all hey!!
I've put on as many games as physically possible on the opening day of the season.
Villain if you don't like it maybe you would like to take over from me next season, if you are from Paignton Villa then it's not my fault your club failed AGAIN to attend a league meeting

now, now.......
although is it the case that 8 teams out of 14 are all unavailable on the opening day of the season, hmmm....
is that also the case for the premier league and some of the lower leagues
i suppose the anticipation of the new season will have to wait until whenever and wherever we start, how disappointing
as for my club affiliation........i thought league officials would know better than to defame clubs with little foundation as to the identity of forum members

Ant, take no notice of him. As you pointed out, clubs can request to close dates and the majority do this at the start of the season to give time for players with other commitments. Its a shame villain has too much of a real life to get involved with the running of his club and the league so things workout more convenient for him personally and not the league as a whole.

I think it be silly coming on here and having a pop at Ant. I think ant did a great job in his last role,and i am sure he will do a fantastic jon in his new role.

Blimey harsh comments from Villain! Moans about the fixtures and then says 'he has a real life to get on with'! - I don't want to slate your opinion villain but, if everyone felt like you then we wouldn't have a league as we would be off doing 'real'things!
At the end of the day somebody needs to do these things like fixtures, registrations etc to give us a league to play in.
