Senior Cup Draw
Just looked at the Senior cup 2nd round draw on the DCFA website.
All 12 SDFL teams drawn away??
Was this by chance or some conspiracy, if by chance what were the odds?

im slightl confused. the draw says we have mount gould. Do i have it wrong or do they play in the P&D premier. Surely they shouldnt be in the Senior but in the premier??!!. Anyone know?

The P&D League have no teams in the Premier Cup anymore due to the fact they as a league believe they are not Premier Clubs ie. Ground standards.

thanks ant, so mount gould finished top of prem of P&D and dont get to play our equivilent!, sounds a bit unfair!. Something should be done!!.
can we swap places so they can play upton or Brix Utd Firsts., even it up a little!!. Ah well, well do our best for SDL.

The website I looked at last night indicated that none of the clubs down there were keen to move on towards SWPL - (Ian Leonard quoted).
I have some experience of Plymouth's Council pitches and changing rooms, from youth football in DJM, which make ours look like Homers Heath etc, the lads once changed in an ex-ammunition store with no windows or electric light and had to leave the small door open to get any light in there at all, but it seems a bit extreme to scrap your Premier Div'n because you have the vast majority who don't want to move up.
Surely that's the same as SDL & D&E, only a few have the ambition or facilities to take it on?

I believe the P&D is also no longer a feeder to the SWPL.

Just like to wish all teams best of luck for tomorrows senior cup especially Fords. After all this stuff about P&D premier/div 1 just go out and beat them should keep them quiet!!!
Oh and good luck in the premier east allington boys tomorrow will see you down there! - try not to go into extra time it will be dark by the time we play else!!!!
