RESULTS FOR FRIENDLIES

I'm all for sending any result to our local press, at anytime of the year.

As I expect to be collecting the results during next season, perhaps you club people would like to practice and 'phone in your results, scorers and any notable incidents to me through the pre-season. It'll give me practice also!

My home number is in the handbook, under 'other contact' at Chagford. Please use this number and NOT my mobile as the signal can be cr*ppy here.

Those of you who do not have last season's handbook can PM me for details.

I'm not promising coverage but will do my best for you.

Regards, John Pearce.

Stoke Gabriel Res 1-1 Waldon Athletic.

What can I say except a typical 1st pre-season game. Well done Jelly your lads never gave up.

Re: RESULTS FOR FRIENDLIES

KINGSTEIGNTON SUNDAY 3 CHAGFORD RES 2
(J Lashley 2; L Dandy (p) --- C Woof; S Ralph)

Pretty equal first half but nearly all Kingsteignton in the second. Both teams took the opportunity to field many subs but Kings changes worked better than their visitors.

A good work out for everyone including Don Distin who reffed very well, as ever.

Bl**dy typical summer weather though!!!
