Meadowbrook 1 Stoke Gabriel 3
Good game Stoke went 1 up with a very dodgy penalty, 1-0 half time. We equalise with good goal from Jame Howrihane then two minutes later let in a soft one after a defensive mix up. They scored a good goal to seal the game but we should have had two penalties after (Messiah can't believe you didn't see the handball :-o). The ref unbelivably booked our player for diving for the other shout when it looked a more obvious penalty than theirs!! Saying that Stoke hit the post 3 times. If we play like that we should be ok - consistency the word, and Stoke will win the league

Fair result.
Stavvy scored in the first minute......and the last!
Pretty even inbetween, but the best team won.
If both teams had been at full strength I think we could have caused an upset.
ps Singe, how did that penalty go in!

Meadowbrook 1 vs 3 Stoke Res
The Brook came out the blocks quickly and were on top for the first half hour,we found it hard to get into the game,as Meadowbrook worked really hard as a team,had they taken chances we could have been a couple down,we were awarded a penalty( dodgey maybe) to put us 1-0 up,second half one their midfielders scored a superb goal to make it 1-1,we then went up other end and bundled home another to make it 2-1,we did manage to hit the post three times,then with about 15 mins left we scored another to make it 3-1.
Well done to Meadowbrook,toughest game for a while for us. We were missing about five players again,but that the norm.
Think the Brook will do ok if they play like that every week.
