New Years "resolutions"?

So, what are they?

I admit I don't generally do resolutions, more of a laundry list of what I should do in general. So I'll share those...

*Read! (There's a whole freaking stack of books I want to read...gotta start getting through them.)

*I need to be a bit more...uh...socially un-shy. emoticon

*Actually DO things winter term. I am NOT going to spend this term holed up in my room like last term. There's got to be *something* to do in that city...right?

*Start working on my novel again, now that I've had a break after my tutorial class.

*Maybe go to the pilates class or something. I'm not doing fencing this year, so I've got to figure out something else to do.

I guess that's about it.

It's only one, and a very simple one at that:

* practice self-discipline

That'll lead to a lot of things:

*less aimless surfing and more writing
*studying for classes and the exam that's waiting in summer
*reading more books
*focussing on tasks ahead
*keeping the flat clean
*eat healthier

We'll see how it turns out. emoticon emoticon

Not resolutions, but some plans:

* I plan to be more active here at Sphaira. I keep balking from writing the essays I want to get out, and I want to stop doing that.

* Like Firle, I need to practice self-discipline, mostly for my own mental health. I have improved over 2007 and want to keep going in 2008.

* I plan to do more writing, keep submitting and get published.

I think this year I will zero in on studying Wicca and folk magic, bringing more daily prayer into my life, focusing on my relationship with The God and Goddess as well as Crow and developing a relationship with Bast.

I'm also going to try and meditate more on the Wiccan Rede and how it applies in various circumstances in life.

To all...have a great evening and stay safe on New Year's Eve!

HUGS
