Ahoi Hoi!
Hola! My name is Bridget and I was invited to join this place by Thora...and I couldn't thank her more! I'm 28 and I live with my husband, son, 2 cats, 3 dogs, in Puerto Rico up in the mountains, far away from civilization. I like to say I'm a mix between a tomboy, hippie and Rastafarian; I always have my hands in the dirt. I'm pretty much the Mother Earth type.
I was introduced into the occult and esoteric spirituality before I could talk and I've been figuring out the what, why and who of the whole thing ever since. I have a degree in modern anthropology and was in the army for 4 years as a Korean translator. Now, I work as a tattoo artist and a mom. I friggen love life and I'm so glad I can come to this board and talk freely about the 'path' and the light. I have become very disheartened by the amount of hostility that surrounds metaphysical ideals in other forums and boards, and it has affected me deeply. I feel I have much healing to do from the absence of compassion, kindness and productive debate.
On the magik side of things, I have studied Babylonian astrology for the last decade and love divination of all types. There are many Chango and Santero related practices that I hold dear and I have a strong connection with the Orishas, especially Yemaya. So, I hope to get to know you all and share whatever I can!

Taiaka....your intro sounds so astounding. It must be nice to have had this path for the bulk of your life. Or at least it's basis.
