Re: The List - For Atalanta63 "La Femme Musketeer"

Correct me if I'm wrong, because I've only seen a few snips, but wasn't most the swordplay meant to be "drive them off" rather than body count?

You show most spirited swordplay with much athleticism and flashes of humor. I loved it. Also, you and/or Susie Amie look competent on a horse. Congratulations.

Sophie Marceau's "D'Artagnan's Daughter" was considerably darker, but the closest film I have for comparison to your few snips. Ms. Marceau had a much different role and "grew" in ability during the film to the famous scene on the rooftop. [ The intervention by her father at the end sullied an otherwise gem, in my opinion. I wanted her to somehow win the day. Yeah, I've studied Robert McKee.]

Re: The List - For Atalanta63 "La Femme Musketeer"

Thanks for the comments! Yes, it was run them off rather than body count. And comedy was the order of most days, except for the last scene and the re shoots with Jean Marc Pare. I was on horseback except for the jumping - they actually let me try the first jump and I woke up on the ground! HA!...Why am I laughing...

I totally agree with you regarding the sophie marceau film. I haven't seen it in a while though.

Thanks again!
