CHiPs First Aired Today 1977
How did CHiPs Affect your life?
For me. Well seeing Erik Estrada on the TV the first time was like I had died and gone to heaven. I knew from the age I was that he was the man I was going to marry. Well ok I never married him, but I feel like I have with this board and all that has bought us close.
I have met Erik TWICE  he even invited me to his house, maybe one day I will take him up on that. I met his wife and his daughter too.
Erik also held a  night in MY HONOUR now if that isnt marriage then what is 
CHiPs changed my life in many many ways. My growing up life wasn't great, CHiPs was my escape, plus the fact that I would be at my Lovely Nan's house when CHiPs was always on, so it holds so many memories. My Nan would move her furniture around the place so that I could record it on her sterio and then at night go to bed listening to it on my headphones and cassette player. I used to know lots of the scripts by heart. I forget some of them now. Its an age thing 
When I first got a PC the first thing I googled was Erik, and found some Yahoo groups on CHiPs, I set myself one up, but they were never that great, I moved onto other boards and met up with Paula who used to own this one, she took me on as a Mod and then Admin, and in the end I took this over from her as she wanted out. It has boomed since. Boasting Erik as a member (yes he is and he has posted) This leading to the web page, has seen posts from Larry, Erik and Robert on the guest book.
I have Erik on Private Message (hes not around too much) Also Larry on my facebook as do many others of you 
Then there is this board of course the friendships that have been formed on this board and all because of CHiPs.
I have personal close friendships with lots of you on here, and even closer ones with some of you, and also my Best Friend Zapit.
We have a great Load of Staff members on here.
We have fun, yes we are slower than usual, but hey we all have lives, but we all know that TCC will be here and when your ready to come back and say 'Hello' again we are ready to say 'Hello and how are you?' back to you.
We miss you when you are not here.
We are a great circle of friends, and many of us have met each other.

I love this board, and I know its all down to Chips, but its also down to hard work that you put into this board Erika to make it so fresh all the time, and the staff who patrol it to keep it safe from filth and all kinds of other vermin out there.
Chips Rocks yes, but we all do and so do you. Thanks Chips Erik and Larry.

I am like Chicky. I watched the show when it was first on. I think I remember liking Jon the best because I liked the boy next door attitude he had. I didn't really get into it a lot then as I had a new born baby at the time. Okay, I'm showing my age but my daughter was less than a month old when the show first aired.
I did start watching reruns of it and really got interested in what the actors that were in it were doing nowdays and went looking for Larry on the internet. I found him and I found several sites. This is the best of all of them.
Thru TCC, I have made many great friends. I met my  , Erika. She is the greatest person I know. She and I have met up several times and we will again in a few weeks. I have also met a few other members because of her. I have made many good friends on here and hope that we stay that way for many years to come. I'm so glad that Erika took over TCC when Paula was going to shut it down. It has grown so much since the first year. Erika added me as a Moderator and then when her Forum Administrator left she asked me if I would like the job. I quickly accepted but only if it was fine with the rest of the staff. There have been times that I haven't been here as much as I should and I apologize to all of you for that.
TCC will always be here for all those who want to come and join us. Yes we are here about CHiPs but we are also here for everyone to talk even if it isn't CHiPs related. This is the most  board I have ever been on.
Long live TCC.  . CHiPs and TCC are

piks or been spotted by Erika and invited to join the coolest site around 
that I used to like but that changed when Bruce joined. It used to be aired on a saturday about 5-6 o'clock and when it finished I used to count down the days to the following saturday. There were alot of great US TV series in the 80s (in my opinion) and this was one of the best around. Through joining this site and thru Chips I have made friends on here and I hope that all our friendships continue thru the years and that that and our love for chips never dies (I think its about time that they start showing the re-runs again 
)
