2010 schedule
Before i go ahead and draw up next years schedule is everyone ok with second saturday of each month being battle day?

Here's the baseline schedule. post any big date problems. known events. holidays... etc.

Had a good idea suggested to me. if we name our battles each month it wll ad an air of planning, preparation, significance, and other adjectives as well. we dont realy get that by just tacking on the word battle after the month.
so I came up wth a bunch of titles for battles, based them on History, tolkien, howard, and norse myth.
if your unit is interested in hosting a battle please let me know. i know Gladii Valorus were looking to do so, so ill give you guys first preference. just give me a location, different date (if nessecary), and a name.
and speaking of event dates, im liking the idea of just keeping our schedule as is, regardles of other national or multi realm events. see it as giving the ones who cant come something to do. also some of those events arent posted until a few months out. And it becomes a problem when we change our schedule to accomodate and then people dont get the memo. even though we post changes and announce them on the bulletin board people sometimes still do not hear about it.
And just in general once we set this thing down id say no changes to it. if theres a big emergency, like the park is on fire then yeah, reschedule, but i think well get more people out if we are consitant in our battle planning.
