New guy here
Hello everyone, I should be joining you all for the Battle at the NJ Commons, May 9th. I have a friend that I am going to being with me, we'll both have our waivers, and weapons, as we are under 18. Hope to enjoy my first event and to continue on coming back, I've looked at Dagorhir for quite some time and finally decided to jump on into as I would a bone chilling swimming pool. If there is anything special that I should know about my first event I would appreciate an email or anything to enlighten me. Hope to see you all on the battlefield!

Alright, with my last attempts at a shield foiled and tomorrow being battle day I was wondering if anyone has and wouldn't mind letting an noob borrow a shield for the day, I will try not to break it but I would like one for the event. If there is a station where I can borrow a used or 'lender' shield that would also be very appreciated.
In a second note, I have read the boards and which part of the park are we actually meeting at? Also I have come up short to find WHEN this is starting tomorrow, and extra help is greatly appreciated.
