Just a few questions
Hey, I'm new, I've only been to 2 battles.
Owen, are you still holding the Birdsboro practices on Sundays?
Are the Paladins still recruiting?
And where can I get leather for armor?
Thanks for any help.

Re: Just a few questions
If you are new do not start off with armour, learn to fight and defend yourself first. Most of us who wear armour will tell it you it tends to make your fighting less crisp and sloppy

Re: Just a few questions
kaim answered the birdsboro guestion for you.
as far as ai know the paladins are still recruiting, however there unit leaser is currently banned from taurendor battefields untill january. i think thay had a basic website up some where. try googling paladins of millenia, or paladins of taurendor.
when i was starting out i got my leather from bags of scrap from walmart. i do NOT reccomend this, its a lot of work to make a legal piece with that stuff and it will be expensive. your best bet for leather would be Tandy. if there's a store near you awesome, if not their website is very good. wait for a few months and they will probably have a half off sale or something.
i also once bought a good bunch of scrap leahter from a plave called kentucky leather (i think) ill see if i can dig up there website.
Vego has a point about having armour from the very begining. it can develope into a crutch.
But do what you want, its your charachter use what he would use. Kudos to you for wanting to make your own armour instead of buying it from someplace. dod you have an idea on what kind of armour you want to make?

Re: Just a few questions
Probably I would practice by making some bracers or greaves, but neither are really necessary. Would I still be able to join the paladins? Is there somewhere I can contact them? I tried to find a website but couldn't.

Re: Just a few questions
Your best bet at the moment is to email the paladins leader. I dont have his info but I am sure Dodinel or someone on here does.

Re: Just a few questions
Not sure about their contact info, to be honest.
But as far as joining a unit, honestly, I'd wait before you get to know the players before you actually dedicate yourself to a certain unit. A lot of people end up jumping straight into a unit right off the bad and then end up realizing that it is not what they wanted in the first place.
But as Frothgar said, it is up to you to make the decision, because you can do whatever you want. As far as I know, however, the Paladins will take whatever they can get.
Also, nice to meet you, I am Zadrian.. the magistrate of Taurendor =)
