New Unit Maybe?
Howdy, this is AJ. I am just about to move into the University City area, just about 2 mins from Clark Park, and was wondering if anyone else is in the area to practice or start a new unit? I won't be able to attend an event until after August, as my time will be caught into representing my regular LARP group to the Blood Games in Mass. PM me if anyone's interested. I am normally a sword and board line fighter, but I have been known to pull out a bow from time to time.

Mcfathom welcome to dagorhir! clark park is not far and your welcomed to come out to any of the units practice and get a idea of what dagorhir does. It is alot different then larping. But always good to have another unit. How can we help you.

Thanks! I'm well aware of the differences and the combat style differences, I had the privilege to Larp with one of the guys that run the Winterfell chapter (Rich Hewitt). During the down time of our normal larp, we've started incorporating Dag weapons and techniques in our fighter practices. I have my core for my shield, I just have to make my weapons and arrows to accommodate the new game.
I've been wanting to make a practice, but I only have Mondays off at the moment and it seems everyone else practices on days that coincide with my shifts.
So, I've got the garb, I just need to get the gear made/bought.

usually saturday mornings 1030am-230pm. your best bet would be the tuesday practices.
