Re: Order of Tauren
I wouldn't worry about the way you look, I am 6 ft tall and am the size of a Buick. It's about having fun, not about trying to keep up with everyone else

Re: Order of Tauren
Dudeman (what's your Dagorhir name?), don't worry about the actual fighting prowess to start out. The whole purpose of the Order of Tauren is to take people with dedication and potential, and train them over the course of a year, and help them become good fighters. Motivation and effort are the most important factors, with a good dose of raw fighting potential. The rest comes with time.
Just ask Destinova about that. He'll be the first to admit how awkward and unskilled he was when he first started. He and I trained hard, he went to a bunch of events, and now he's one of the best fighters in the realm.

Re: Order of Tauren
I really learned to fight by practicing with the group of fighters that became OoT, at first I was getting killed all the time, but practice, some improved gear, and it made a huge difference. One of the things about OoT that I really like, there isn't a brethren in the unit that wouldn't take time to teach someone who asked how to be a better fighter. Come out to some practices and learn, even if you don't end up fighting with OoT, it is still a good practice.

Thats up to you, the Knights are however not as intolorent as that. If a member of your group wished to squire no one in the Knighthood would stop him.

For whose sweet sake that glorious badge we wore
And dead (as living) ever he adored.

I dont think that you even need "raw" talent you just need to practice and learn thats all.

Okay, dedication and practice I can do. What do I need to do to join the OoT? (My Dag name is Grausam by the way)

Re: Order of Tauren
Look us up at the next battle, fight with us for the day, and we'll go from there. Given a little time, if it seems like a good fit, we'll ask you to be an Initiate.
Cool name, btw.
