Re: 2009 Dove Count

This past weekend, they were definitely flying in the evenings. Finally got lots of groups. Morning s sucked due to the overcast conditions every morning. Hogs were also great Saturday. I shot two Saturday morning and Butch shot 3 Saturday night. So, south zone is great! My old gun quit ejecting shells again so it's time for the old girl to be retired. Just call me One Shot Wendy. I hate that! I'm better on the second shot.

Good job Charlie. We went from seeing enough birds to shoot out to no birds at all now.

Well it's the last day of the season here and we have no birds in the back field where we hunt but tons of birds in the front field by the highway. DIDN'T TAKE THEM DOVES LONG TO FIGURE OUT WHERE IT WAS SAFE.
