The Notepad appears briefly in The Eye and the Prime Object when Joe Miller and Howard (The Weasel) Montague visit the Sood with the picture of Eddie and Mabel. It is part of the Sood’s computerized object catalogue. It also appears during Dr. Martin Ruber’s vision in the desert.

The Notepad is a small blue tablet printed for the Santa Fe Railroad. It has a cross shaped emblem on the top of the front cover and two trains on the bottom.

The powers of The Notepad, if they exist, are completely unknown.

Useful eBay search terms:

santa fe note pad
santa fe notebook
santa fe tablet

The Notepad shows up about every three weeks. They are not difficult to find, but there are several similar variations. It is a good idea to have a picture handy while looking.

Re: The Notepad

Assuming the notepad in the show is from 1961, the ones on ebay LOOK IDENTICAL, but range in year, as a calender is printed on the inside cover. the same design must have been used for a good 5-6 year print run.

Re: The Notepad

That’s a valid issue. However, since the Life Magazine is clearly anachronistic, what can we really say about the notepad? I wouldn’t want to start calling a 1962 notepad that looked the part semipaulian.
