Necros is in fact, not a Planet or Moon. Necros is an artificial body that orbits the sun just as a normal planet does. Necros lies far beyond Pluto, hidden from all sensor grids and is swarming with Sabbat. Necros is the Sabbat Haven World, a terrible nightmarish world of steel and twisted flesh.

Necros began is a single large cargo transporter, the original ship that hordes of sabbat escaped earth with. Over time the ship was added to as other redundant and pirated ships were welded on to increase the interior space. Eventually the original ship grew to such a size that its mass produced its own gravity field.

The Tzimisce that controlled Necros began to experiment in fusing flesh to steel and other metals, and mastered the art of Bio-mechanics. It is said, deep in the centre of Necros lies a single Tzimisce Methuselah, fused and one with the great hulk of Necros, controlling everything via wires and cables fused to his mind.

To this day Necros orbits far outside of the charted solar system, as big as a moon, and contains enough dense metals to give it a gravity almost equal to Earths. With the outer skin covered with thousands buildings it seems to resemble a small metallic planet with patches of living skin, but it is the interior where most of the activity lies.
Every stolen ship is brough back to Necros and added to it, and becoming a part of Necros as it continues to grow.

Being so large, it is now impossible to actually steer Necros like a normal ship that it once was. In every way, Necros is becoming a planet.
