vampire the masqurade redeption HOW DO YOU OPEN PORTS!!

i used to have no problem joining vampire games... until i brought a wirless router now i can't join any games and no one can join mine. everyone is telling me to open a port number but i don't know how!!!! can someone help me out

my router is netgear DG834GT i know you have to log into the router http:///192.168.0.1 when i log in thats where i get stuck

Try Sorting Port numbers for a Netgear router

That should set you in the right direction at least.

The port number you need for vamp is 27960 and if applicable, that needs to be set for both UDP and TCP protocols.

It's difficult to try and be more specific than that for the moment as I havent got the same model router as you (so how things should be done varies).
