Hi
Just a quick note to say Hello and thank you for all the information I have already pilfered from the posts here. Bachscuttler reccomended this as one of the best places for information on B&W editting as I haven't been dissapointed.
I used to shoot mostly sports and nature, however I am now paying more attention to landscapes, not least because I have ended up taking landscapes for a book.
I will probably continue to lurk for a while before posting, partly because my computer died and is awaiting warranty repair and partly because my 9 month old quite rightly takes up about 40 hours a day of her parents time.
Kit wise I try to stick to the tried and tested combination of hollands pies and a good Reisling, but I have been known to be tempted by a pinot. I've used a few over the years, Nikon, Canon, Minolta, Mamiya rz, olymus and zenit spring to mind. Mostly Canon these days and soon to be parting with the Mamiya. The 6x7 velvia will be missed, the 3 tonnes weight won't.
