Well just to say the Whitby trip was a great day out, weather perfect, thanks to all that attended and hope to see some pics up soon. For those that came I just want to say that I am quite serious when needs be, but I also think that as well as taking pictures the day should be fun and enjoyable, we had laughs galore and also did some serious stuff. So once again thanks to all and see you on the next outing, any suggestions ????

Hi Martin,
Thank you for a fantastic time in Whitby (though not for the early start!).
You are right to say we had fun - I can't remember the last time I laughed so much as you did manful battle with your tripod on that incredibly treacherous slipway (slip being the operative word) while the waves were virtually breaking over our heads(I have a photo).
But you are also right to say that we did some serious stuff as well and I am really looking forward to seeing (and producing) some of the results. I personally learnt a lot and really got into and appreciated taking photos into the light.
I will be getting my PC back from Sheffield on Tuesday so wont be able to do any work on the photos until then.
Looking forward to the next meet up.
