That vote would have been mine then. 
I do agree with Martin though. We used to have a fantastic photography newsgroup at work with fortnightly competitions and lots of dicussion, but it died a death through lack of input

Hi,
I have been away for a few days without access to the internet - I expect I am too late to vote now.
Agree it is important though - lifeblood of the (well any) forum is interaction and feedback.

The problem with voting , or rather knowing when to do it, is that there is no "NEW" notice that comesm up against the competition thread in question to let me know that its time to do so or to remind me
