I don't know Chris, you're the one that got me started on HDR mono. Your stuff is awfully good too.

Re: The big give away
Chris, I honestly had something else in mind.
Martin has pretty much covered the CG in his previous articles and his tutorial, and I really don't have a set workflow for HDR. I was thinking more of "effect of colour filters on digital black and white" or "conversion theory from colour to black & white". Let me discuss this with Martin and see what he thinks.

Re: The big give away
I think that filter effects either on camera or in PS with example pics would be great, the HDR thingy is covered in previous issue

Re: The big give away
Would like another section of where people live, like yours in the last issue, makes good reading. Also Chris you once posted something about images you have taken while in hotels forgot the title, that would be good read. Any type of equipment user reviews, you use Olympus cams ?.

Re: The big give away
Hi Martin,
Sorry I have been very absent recently but will be more regular again from now.
I have been struggleing to come up with something to submit to the mag (but I do really want to). I am crap at reviewing equipment and I don't think I have the expert knowledge to do any 'technique' type articles.
I have realised recently that I have been lioving in Newcastle for nearly a year and have done very little photography in the city. I think there may be an article in this somewhere and have been meaning to do some projects on the bridges and other architectural aspects.
Does this sound like it could be interesting for the e-mag? It will be more images than words though and may take a month or two to put something together.
Best regards
Hugh
