Re: Siloch Beyond Loch Maree Thanks all for the comments I suppose because it was taken about a foot off the ground this could give the impression that there is no depth as you're not actually looking down on the image from a standing position. For me it works much better looking from within the small reeds in the foreground.
re. The vignetting, ahem... that is the edge of my Lee filter so I added a bit more to try and hide it.... Didn't want to remove it as the composition works for me.
I hope it looks good in print, I've just tried an online supplier of made to measure frames for this one, as it's a xmas present for our friends who where with us at the time.
And I'm trying to find a good source for eye recalibration.
Re: Siloch Beyond Loch Maree Who am I to go against the master but it doesn't 'gel' for me either Having looked long and hard I've realised that it is because of the ripples seemingly moving outwards on both sides from the viewing position and it just seems unreal, as though I were the cause of them! Its all subjective of course but its excellent photography and editing!
