grain added to emulate a 400 iso b/w film.

Thanks Chris. Yes, I could take a little more off the top. The original does have noise, and in b/w would not be objectionable. I do like to add grain to some portraits. I should have applied a touch more for this size as it is not real noticable. Original from camera, same crop as above. Sharpened for web.

Thanks Mark. Yes it is the 50/1.4. It is not a bad lens and will do until I can plunk some cash for an L. (24&50)emoticon

Focus ring on these is not the tightest, so at 1.4 you can be a little hit and miss. +17 for micro focus adjustment on the MK3. In contrast my 24-70/2.8 is a 0.
