Lucky number 7

Hi there, this is my first post of an image.....this one's from my blog because I didn't know where to start. I guess this sums up my style fairly well though.

This is my daughter, she's not a big fan of having her picture taken anymore! Anyway we went to the park and when I took my camera out she looked a bit cross and told me that I could take 7 shots and no more! I got 6 shots of her looking very grumpy and then this was number 7......I think she was just pleased that I had finished!

This is taken digitally (I use a lot of film) I'm new to converting images though so any pointers will be great...

Image

Thanks, L emoticon

Hello, thanks everyone....she certainly is a great model, just not a very cooperative one anymore!

I may try bribery...

Crimbo, bright things seem to be where I struggle the most with digital emoticon

Martin, yes I do b/w informal portraits. I'm just trying to build it up since my daughter is at school. In my free time it's usually pictures of the dog, the seaside, anything really but always b/w (I do occasional weddings which really is the only time I'll use colour)

Okay Lizzy, I asked because you said the picture sums up your style so I thought you are interested in portraits mainly. Anyway, great pic, looking forward to seeing more.
