Its an interesting subject. I used to use borders, and sometimes i spend quite a long time looking for an interesting borders, not only these plain, black ones.

Now i don't bother about them at all, they may help improve the picture but i have seen so many borders which were made without taste, or just were unnecessary and took viewers attention out of the picture. So ive decided not to bother about them any more.

I've heard also that borders isoloate photo from the viewer. Photo without a border makes you feel more part of it. I don't know how does it work with digital borders, but I really like this idea.. even if it may seems a bit strange.
