Maximum Resolution for a 13 Megapixel camera
I probably should know the answer to this and I think I do, but just to make sure, I wanted to get some opinions from other 5D owners.
An Art Publisher is interested in some of my b&w photography and wanted to know what's the maximum size I can print without losing resolution quality....or as he put it....how large before the image becomes pixelated?
Can anyone give me this info? Also, some of my older images were shot with a 20D (8mp), so any idea on maximum output size for that camera?
Presently I am printing up to 17 x 22 with absolutely no problem. I know I can definitely print larger, but how large?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Maximum Resolution for a 13 Megapixel camera
It is actually less obvious than it sounds because in reality viewing distance should be taken in to account...I am told that with larger prints 240ppi is perfectly okay but if you did a billboard size image I bet you could get away with 100ppi but as with billboards, view it from a few feet and it will be pixelated...so Steve suck it and see at 240ppi and good luck with the sales

Re: Maximum Resolution for a 13 Megapixel camera
I agree with Chris on this, viewing distance is an important factor, any image that is up sized beyond its native resolution will be less detailed than its native size, but at correct distance, per image size will always look the same.
