Monochrome printing information

As some of you may know I am looking for a paper to settle on for my mono prints. As part of the research process I started looking for information on specific areas - at this time DMax. I came across this page (which admittedley is largely aimed at promoting a RIP) by Pete Myers.

BUT - It gives a lot of insight into print technology and how it affects the final image so I think it's worth a read.
