Re: Do you print?

How dod I miss this thread?

anyway{ I nearly dipped my toe in the printing pool last year - I bought the 3800 but sent it back - the box was so big it scared me! But also the idea of getting into SERIOUS printing scared me

Im still scared (story of my life!) but I am definitely ordering the 3880 as soon as it arrives - so can I join in then please? (about a month I guess) emoticon

Re: Do you print?

Got the prints today, and I must say that the difference in printers is quite a surprise. The ability to lay these prints side by side and see the color cast from the commercial printers is a real eye opener. Martins 3 prints are the best. Consistant with no color cast. It is also nice to see his prints on 3 different papers, and the effect it has on the image.

Martin's review of these prints before he sent them to me is spot on.

Regards,

Dave

Martin,

I think this is a great iodea but I know that my printer is crap so don't think there is much to be gained from joining in. I will watch the results with interest though.

I will try and join in, not for a couple of weeks though as I'm busy.

What if I sent a couple of images on the same paper. One with the suppliers icc profile and one I've created myself.. Or is that not the idea.
