Re: Lakes Old Building I can see it Simon and it don't look good, never seen anything like that on a high res image only on re sized ones that are blown up, looks to me like you need that checking out. On my older 1dmk2 and my 1dsmk2 you can get what I call banding in the dark areas like your example but they only run in vertical pattern, with the new cams such as my 1dmk3 i never get that no matter how dark or underexposed the file is, If this is from you 5dmk2 then I would certainly send a sample to Canon because for a camera costing what it does it should be far far better
